THE LOOP

Keeping you in the conversation of what's happening at FC!

Attention Parents of Elementary Children! - Want to stay in the loop on everything happening in our Elementary Ministry?  Join our Remind App by texting @two39 to 81010.

Choir Kicks off Sunday Sept 22nd! - Do you enjoy singing?  Do you know anyone who should be singing?  Feel free to join us, this Sunday and every Sunday after from 3-4:30pm in the Chapel whether or not you've been in a choir before.  We will prepare to sing in Sunday services and for Christmas in Newburgh.  See you Sunday!

New Men's Bible Study - Men, for five weeks you have 2 options to join a new Men's Bible study, THRIVING IN BABYLON.  Join Kevin Brimner on Tuesday nights at 8pm in the Chapel (beginning 9/10) or join Nathan Logsdon on Thursday mornings at 6:30am in the Chapel (beginning 9/12).  Intentionally invite some friends and gather together with other guys to build connections and focus on living and leading in a world that at times can feel like Babylon.  Sign up at bit.ly/fcmensgroup

New Ladies Book Club - Ladies, join us for "coffee and convos" as we read through Jennie Allen's book, ANYTHING, and discuss the insights we gain from it.  We'll meet in Room 211/212 on Wednesdays, 11-11:50am, from Sept. 18 through Oct. 9.  Please purchase your book in a local bookstore on online before Sept. 18.  Sign up to join us at this link:   bit.ly/fcbookclub   (About the book:  What if you told God you would do anything . . . and he took you up on it?  Anything is a prayer of surrender that will spark something.  A prayer that will move you to stop chasing things that just make you feel happy and start living a surrendered life that matters.  Join Jennie on an adventure to discover your anything, those things that actually mean nothing until you know the God truly worth giving it all up for.  And when you do, that will change everything.)

NEWCOMER'S LUNCH - Have you started attending FC in 2019? We'd love to invite you and your family to join us for lunch to meet other new families as well as some of FC's leadership. Two dates are available: September 29th or November 17th, immediately following the morning worship service. There is no cost to you but please register your family at bit.ly/fclunch

Castle Football Concessions - For the past 4 years we've had the great opportunity to work the concession stands at one of Castle's home football games. This year, we will be serving on October 18th for Senior Night.  We are looking for 30 volunteers to join us for a great night of serving together at the ball field. Click the link to register bit.ly/castleconcessions

RightNow Media - Our church now has access to an extensive new video library called RightNow Media! It’s like the "Netflix of Video Bible Studies" and it has a HUGE library of faith-based videos that you can access whenever and wherever you want—on your phone, iPad, computer, or at home on your TV.  If you haven't received an email from us, click here to accept this free gift from us to you.  If you have any questions, please contact Holly Gillespie.

Community Impact - There are many ways to partner with FC to take the Acts 2:39 promise to our community.  Make sure and read through the Community Impact section, visit their page, or head to the booth in the Lobby on Sunday morning for more information on being a part of this ministry.
