To Live on Purpose

Acts 2:42-47 gives us a snapshot of how the early church practiced faith in Jesus Christ. These elemental practices have shaped the Church for 2,000 years. The gospel of Jesus Christ has the flexibility to address each culture's connections and corrections.  Acts 15 is a story that fundamentally accelerated the growth of the church outside its normal (accepted?) constraints.  The accelerated growth led the leadership to hold tightly to the gospel’s salvation and not let the church drift from purpose. Three drifts to avoid [1] towards insiders and away from outsiders, [2] towards rules and away from grace, [3] toward preserving instead of advancing.
